Picture Frame Mounting
Picture Frame Mounting Hardware
Since there are several different ways to mount a picture, there are many different types of hardware that could be used. One of the easiest methods is to use photo corners. These pieces are simple to apply and minimize potential damage to the actual photograph. A photo corner is applied to a mounting board and each corner of the picture is slid into the photo corner. If one plans to re frame the photograph at any time, this method is the most temporary and allows for easy removal of the photograph. Another method is to use an adhesive tissue and to permanently adhere the photograph to the mounting board. This type of mounting works well when the artwork is to be displayed without a frame at all. However, elements such as pollutants and moisture in the air might cause the picture to bubble or the entire board to bend slightly.
How To Mount And Frame A Picture
Once a picture or photograph is sufficiently mounted, make sure to allow ample time for it to dry. The next step is to decide whether or not you would like to border the picture with a mat or if you would like it to be flush against a frame. The decision should be based on the content and colors of the picture as well as the destination wall for the picture. Choosing a frame can be an overwhelming task since there is such a large variety from which to choose. While some may argue that certain types of pictures require specific frames, others might argue that the decision for a frame lies in one's personal taste.

Picture Frame Wall Mount Display Cases
To save valuable floor space, many people opt to mount display cases in their homes and offices. Best described as a hybrid between a picture frame and display case, these pieces can house artwork, smaller photo frames, trophies, collectibles or other special pieces. Wall mount display cases can also be used for more practical purposes to hold office supplies or gadgets within easy reach. Because of their weight and the potential weight of objects in the case, they are suspended with heavy-duty brackets to ensure security. When mounting a picture frame, a combination of technique and personal preference is needed to produce the desirable end product. Once the technique is mastered, picture frame mounting can easily be done.
